How Do I Install a Printer?

Please attempt the following steps before contacting the T&I team. If you do not, you will be redirected back to this page before providing further assistance 

  • Download Xerox Smart Start
    Download Here
  • Run the Downloaded Xerox Smart Start.exe file as an Administrator
    • Right click the file and click "Run as Administrator"
  • The application will open and start searching for printers. 
  • Select the printer you want to install by selecting “Quick Install” beside the printer. If the printer you want to install is not selected, click on “Don’t See Your Printer?” on the bottom left. 
    • If you selected “Don’t See Your Printer?” enter the IP Address of the printer you wish to add and select “Continue” 
    • Ensure that the correct printer is being detected and select “Quick Install”
    • The Smart Start application will install the printer driver for you. After it has completed select “Install Another Device” if you want to install additional printers, or “Done” if you want the close
