Signing up for Sonic Boom - AVD Pilot 

• You will need to open up a "Private Browser" (Edge) or an "Incognito Window" (Chrome)
• Use the following link in the URL bar in either browser

https://usaf.dps.mil/sites/SBVP/SitePages/AVD-Pilot-Signup.aspx

• Answer the following questions with the appropriate information
• After the following Tuesday you will be able to login into Air Force Virtual Desktop

AFTER THE FOLLOWING TUESDAY:

Microsoft Remote Desktop Download

• Click the following link to install 
• LINK: Remote Desktop Installer Windows 64-bit
• Launch the Windows Remote Desktop Client

Setting up USAF Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) via Remote Desktop

***YOU WILL NEED YOUR CAC***

• When you open up Microsoft Remote Desktop
• Click on the "..." in the top right corner

• Click "Subscribe with URL"
• Insert the given URL; https://rdweb.wvd.azure.us/api/arm/feeddiscovery 
• Enter your Air Force credentials when prompted (CAC Certification Validation Required)
• Double click on "SessionDesktop" to launch AVD
• If prompted, re-enter your Air Force Credentials
• If this is the first time you're logging in, you may prompted to allow access to the AVD Host. If prompted, click Yes to allow this permission.
